Most styling damage is not caused by a bad technique. It is caused by heat — a flat iron sitting at 230°C against a single section, over and over, until the cuticle gives up. How to use

1. Rough-dry to around 80% with the drying nozzle. Styling soaking-wet hair is the most common mistake.
2. Clip the hair into four sections.
3. Fit the attachment you want. Work in sections about two inches wide.
4. Hold each section for 8 to 10 seconds, then finish with the cold shot before you release it. The cold shot is what makes the shape hold.

Who it suits

Straight, wavy, curly and coily hair, from chin length down. Safe on colour-treated and keratin-treated hair. If your hair is very short, the 30 mm barrel and the round brush will do most of the work.
